My Uncle Eugene!!!

He is the greatest great uncle alive!!! He bought me the pretty dress and matching hat that I have on in the pictures. He is going to be my bestest friend ever! He likes for others to call him Thomas, but I get away with calling him "Uncle Eugene!" hehe! When I see him, I love to laugh and talk to him! We have the best time! I Love my Uncle Eugene!!!

Happy Birthday Grammy!!!

Today is my mom's 50th birthday. We love her so much and can't imagine life without her. Thanks Mom for being the absolute best mom on the face of this earth and for loving me unconditionally. I know there were times that you probably wanted to throw me out and ask God for a new model, but you stuck right by me through thick and thin. I feel like the luckiest daughter alive and I know that Lucy McLean is blessed beyond measure to have such an awesome Grammy. We have one more "surprise" for you, but we have to wait until Daddy gets home. I can't figure it out on my own. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak!

Also wanted to say Happy Belated Anniversary to Aunt Jacie and Uncle Josh! Happy 1 year and counting!!!

IAM4AU

So, WAR EAGLE moments are always wonderful to me. After every one, I think of every time Jon (my great friend from undergrad and roomate at AU) would talk about his WAR EAGLE moment in the airport and I would have to remind him that it didn't actually happen to him, it was just a commercial! For those of you who know the commercial, you totally understand. Anyways, since moving to Brevard, I have often seen a car driving around with a license plate that reads "IAM4AU". I usually see it while walking downtown and have been curious about who actually drove the car. Low and behold, I got behind the car the other day and turned right in after them in to the Sears parking lot. This sweet older couple gets out of their car. I just had to role down my window and say "WAR EAGLE". They promptly turned around with huge grins on their faces and came towards my car. They introduced themselves and said that the husband had graduated from Auburn, their son had graduated from Auburn and their 11 year old grandson would one day graduate from Auburn. I smiled and said that I hoped this 11 week old in the backseat would one day graduate from there as well. At least Sara is already telling Ford to look out for her when she has to move down there to get that orange bleeding through her blood. So for now, there is my WAR EAGLE MOMENT!!!

Class Picnic

Little late... On Tuesday, Lucy McLean and I went to the park to meet my class for a picnic. We had a lot of fun. It was nice to kinda sit back and relax with my team that I miss so very much! The rest of the week was consumed with painting our living room. We went from a green, that I LOVED and stole from my friend Mary Beth's mom (who happened to be my kindergarten teacher)dining room. It was a very fun and funky color. Needless to say, Ryan HATED the color. So, he dealt with it for 2 years and then I switched it up. I hope we like the khaki, or we will PAY someone to repaint. Luckily, my friend Robin is PSYCHO and loves to paint. She was a great help and I am sure we owe her at least a month of babysitting. I will try to get pics up of that soon. For now, enjoy these from the picnic.Sorry the pic of Debby and LM is so dark. It was a sweet moment though. My parents are in town for the kennel club, so I will post pics of that too! Have a great rest of the weekend!!!

I found my ears!

Not that they were hard to find! Lucy McLean now likes to play with her ear as she sleeps. Bless her, she has some "growing in to" as far as her ears are concerned. She obviously decided she didn't like me talking about her ears. As you can see, she held her hand up and told me "THAT IS ENOUGH MAMA!"
