What a Season

My coaching season officially came to an end on Saturday, as the West Rowan Falcons won the 3A State Championship in football. Way to go guys! It was a very rainy, cold, day...but the Falcons were HOT! Very excited to share in this 3-peat history. This is the 3rd year in a row that the Falcons have brought home a state championship!
My girls...sporting their "U''s (for Mt. Ulla University/High School haha)
LM showing off her "U". Tripp and Grammy and Grampy had already left the game!
Lucy McLean with Dana
Big X...this kid totally reminds us of Michael Orr. He is precious and sweet as pie! Check out his bling...two state Championship rings and one more to add to that necklace!
LM with Davon. Davon works for my mom. She thought all of the football player's name was Davon for awhile. Way to go Falcons. This has certainly been an eventful and fun season!!!

9 months

And a really slack mama!
So, I am just now posting about this precious little man. Tripp turned 9 months old on the 20th. As with most every month, this has to be one of the most fun stages. He is laughing up a storm and has the most precious, one dimpled grin! He has learned to say "Bye Bye" and waves his little arm. He is also trying to snap his finger. Tripp has really started to interact and try to crawl all over Lucy McLean. They play like crazy together in the bath and on our bed. He likes to be in to EVERYTHING! He loves paper, hence the picture. He laughs so hard when he actually gets a piece of paper.
He has really started doing one of those crinkled-up-nose grins that is to die for! (Disregard the mugshot of his daddy)
He loves taking baths and brushing his teeth. He hates having his diaper changed and tries to flip over every time. He is very ticklish. He pretty much loves attention and loves being on his daddy's shoulders. He is a really happy boy, but insists that I hold him from the moment I get home from work, until he goes to bed. I know, I could break him of this, but how could you resist snuggling with this cutie patootie?! Ok, it can be annoying sometimes!
We are very blessed. Lucy McLean loves her "baby alive" brother (unless he is pulling her hair or playing with her baby dolls). He LOVES her and we love them both to pieces!
