A little laundry gift from heaven
Wow! These things are amazing. For those of you who are around me often, you know that my brain has totally been taken over by this little miracle in my tummy. I can not seem to think of the right words to say and I have been having laundry mishaps left and right. In the past week or so alone, I have washed the rugs in the babies room, to have them come out smelling like road kill, washed a pair of Ryan's jeans that had diesel fuel on them, with an entire load of laundry... boy did that smell yummy, and the best yet, I washed a pair of new jeans with the only pair of khakis I have that fit. So, I tried these bad boys to see if they would reverse their effectiveness and they did! I now have khakis that are actually khaki colored again. YAY! The small blessings in life!

Meeting Baby William
Last Saturday, I got to meet Baby William, Megan's new nephew. He is precious. I kept on trying to make him lay on my shoulder, but all he wanted to do was cuddle up with Baby Shelton. I guess it is warm down there!

My Baby's Daddy!
We had our Childbirth Prep class last weekend and Ryan was wonderful. He actually knew way more than I did. Glad he is in this thing with me! They asked for volunteers to put on the c-section garb, so no one would be freaked out if their hubby ended up looking like this. Of course, Ryan volunteered. We were all in the other room waiting on him to change when we heard "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDIN' ME!" Yep, that would be my husband. He did a great job role playing c-section daddy.
I can't believe that in less than 3 months, we are going to be parents. I can't imagine Baby S having a better father than Ryan. He is soo good with kids. I love being in the nursery with him on Sunday mornings and mom's getting excited with their children and saying "Look who it is, it's Mr. Ryan!"as they hand over their child. I love being around friends and their children's arms reaching out when they see Ryan. I even love seeing how Ryan loves on Snoop and acts as if he is his "little boy".
We went over to the Monk's last night to meet William (pictures to come soon). It was great to see Ryan so comfortable wanting to hold this newborn. I know that he one heck of a father and I can't wait to share this experience with him. I know that no matter if our child is a boy or a girl, they will have their daddy wrapped around their finger. He is amazing! Thank you Lord for this blessing!

Snow Day
Well, we finally got a descent snow. This was what our street looked like last night, before we went to bed. We woke up with way more. We were out of school today and I, proudly, wrote an entire unit of lesson plans for when I am out. Ryan also had his first steroid injection today for his back. His back started to spasm during the injection, so he was in a lot of pain. He has been knocked out since we came home. For those of you who don't know, Ryan ruptured a disc in his back on New Years Eve. The doctor has given him 6 weeks of physical therapy and injections. If this doesn't work, we may have to go the big "s" word route. We don't want to think about that right now and are praying that this gives him the relief that he needs. If not, then I may be having to have someone move in with me, if I have a husband recovering from surgery and a new born IN JUST A FEW SHORT MONTHS!! Wow, that is crazy to think about! We are 28 weeks today, but looking more like 35! We will post new belly pictures soon. Enjoy the snow for now!!!

There really is a house smaller than ours!
Now don't get me wrong, Ryan and I love our little home. It is perfect and totally teaching me that I have WAY TOO MUCH CRAP! We have recently gotten rid of a lot to prepare for Baby S and it is feeling more spacious than ever. I am sure it won't feel as "spacious" in 3 months. WOW, we are going to be parents in 3 months. THAT IS CRAZY! My mom sent me the add for this house today in Toronto. It is a cutie patootie AND it is actually smaller than our house. Here are some more pics...
Maybe we need a Murphy bed?!
