Happy Fall Y'all

We have been super busy this fall. Cheerleading is still going strong. The Falcons won their 40th straight game last night! My cheerleaders hosted a pink out and it was tons of fun. They let over 500 balloons go at half-time in honor and memory of those who have been effected by breast cancer. Lucy McLean and I didn't make it to the game. She has bronchitis AGAIN. We have been dairy free for over a month now trying to see if that would help her and Tripp's respiratory issues, but it doesn't seem to be helping yet! These pictures were taken last week in our attempt to get Tripp's 8 month pictures.
The whole gang...including LM's new scarecow that she adores (Thanks Aunt Glenda) The Big 8 month old!

Tripp turned 8 months old on Wednesday. He is getting so big and looking so much like a little man these days. He has 4 teeth and still not a lot of hair! He isn't sleeping great like his sister did, but is sweet as pie. He laughs real hard when you tickle him and loves to be around people.

7 months

Yeah, so getting this little booger's picture made with his "sign of the month" is getting harder and harder. He is in to EVERYTHING! My mom actually caught Tripp on top of a basket the other day. He had climbed from a box and on to the top of the basket. I think he watches his big sister for tricks way too much! He continues to be a lot of fun and a happy baby, regardless of what his Grampy says! He thinks Lucy McLean hung the moon and she can make him laugh like crazy. He loves to swing and EAT EAT AND EAT SOME MORE!!! He stands up on everything now and can walk around furniture. He has beautiful blue eyes with eyelashes that most women would pay for. He grins with his mouth wide open and kisses with his mouth open too! We are enjoying every second with this little man!

The Rowan County Fair

My oh my what you see at a fair. I am hoping that God puts blinders on children and that they don't see what we as adults see! Have you ever looked at that People of WalMart website? It is seriously like that X's about 3,000I don't want Lucy McLean to get any ideas. On another note...Lucy McLean had a blast at the fair this year. We ate yummy, greasy, overpriced (except from the WRHS FFA booth)food...rode on rides and saw the animals from all of our local farms. Tripp even enjoyed some lemonade! Ryan wins the AWESOME daddy award for squeezing his 6 ft long legs in to all of the kiddie rides. We had no melt downs... not even when we left. Lucy McLean simply said "Bye Bye Fair...Have a Good Day"!

Rah Rah

As Sara put it perfectly, I have certainly had a "coming full circle moment'' the last two weeks. During both games, Lucy McLean has decided that she is now a cheerleader. She loves being out with my girls and "cheering with them". She even runs and flips. She has made the news paper, cable tv, and our local television's Friday Night Football! The girls are great with her and besides her being in their way on occassion, it has been pretty fun to watch! Here are some pictures from this big girl's adventures as a Falcon!

I love that she even prays with them!

3 Days for Crying Outloud!

Yep, we lasted three whole days at preschool before we "didn't get a smiley face". I knew this day was coming, but I didn't expect for it to happen so fast. Lucy McLean kicked a little boy because he was trying to get in the playhouse with her. Some may want to justify her actions (heck her mama kinda does), but dang if it isn't a little embarrassing to be in education and having a child that misbehaves at school. I felt a little better that my principal has had to go pick up his 3 year old because he was "getting a little too wild". What will she become?
