Who is the baby?

My mom got this toy out for Tripp and Lucy McLean immediately got in it. She was hilarious (as always).

On another note...this little man turned 4 months old yesterday (pics to come). He is precious, rolling over and smiling tons. He will only sleep on his side now! He watches EVERYTHING his big sister does and is grabbing blankets and getting attached. I learned my lesson with Lucy McLean and her "B". I am going to make Tripp small security blankets out of the fabric in this picture. This will (hopefully) be easier to get more of than having to go to Wal-Mart and buy a $7 bunny that is now DISCONTINUED....agghhh!!!

In looking thru Father's Day quotes and trying to find the perfect one for Ryan... I think that Mary Mapes Dodge said it just right...

"What a dreadful thing it must be to have a dull father"

Ryan certainly isn't dull. He brings light in to our tired children's eyes, adventure, laughter, bear hugs, and much more. He has the energy to sustain an afternoon with a two year old and a crying screaming 4 month old! One of my greatest blessings in life is to see him with our children.

Lucy McLean's First Fish

She wasn't super stoked about it. She was obsessed with going "sishin with Gampy". After her initial reaction, she warmed up to the idea and had a blast.

Been busy...

And without internet service! So, here is what we have been up to...

Ryan made his way in to LM's bed to get her to "nap" while mama went grocery shopping

We dedicated Tripp to the Lord. What a special blessing it was to have our family and friends witness this.

And the little guy turned 1/4 of a year old...most would just consider it 3 months. I can hardly believe it! He is HUGE and loves to watch his sister!

And I had a GNO with some dear friends from play group. I sure have missed these ladies since I have gone back to work and can't wait to spend the summer with them and their precious little ones!

Lucy McLean's Saturday in Pictures

10 Weeks Old

This little man is 10 weeks old today. It is hard to believe. Time certainly has FLOWN by. This was my first FULL week back at work. It about killed me. Luckily, I have some amazing friends and a wonderful husband...not to mention a great God...who got my through it. I don't think I have ever been ready for Saturday like I was this week.

Tripp is really starting to interact with us. He smiles a lot and talks to us. Like his sister, he loves ceiling fans, the windows down in the car, his changing table, baths, being naked and eating! Unlike Lucy McLean, he still isn't sleeping through the night. He did make it 6 1/2 hrs last night which was glorious.
