Grampy's Bday

We really enjoyed our time with Grampy this weekend. He came up on Friday afternoon. We had the house all decorated for him and ready. Lucy McLean made homeade streamer for him and even decorated with a few pictures of her and her Grampy. Thanks for taking the time to come see us. WE LOVE YOU!!!

Happy Belated Grampy

Grampy's birthday was last Sunday. We had the house all decorated and ready to celebrate, but the weather changed our plans. With all the madness, we forgot to post about this wonderful man. So...

Dear Grampy,
Thank you for being such an amazing "Gampy". We have so much fun together. I love riding around "the farm" with you on my golfcart. I love laughing hysterically at you as I ride you like a pony. I love showing you how I can "swim" in the bathtub. I love every second of being with you (even when I throw my tantrums). Thank you for coming to see me all the time and for loving me so much. I can't wait to celebrate this weekend.

Sick Days

LM is sick. Can't you tell? Yeah, neither could we! The wonderful Aunt Lissa noticed Monday that LM had a fever after she came to her complaining about her "eye" which was actually her ear. We took her to the doctor and she has strep, ear infections in both ears and ASTHMA?! crazy. Ryan started to feel bad last night and went in this morning. He now has strep. So, STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THE SHELTON HOUSE!!! Say a little prayer that these two sick puppies get to feeling better soon.

PFE Diaper Pounding

We were blessed with a diaper pounding at my school on Monday. Each grade level brought their grade equivalent in diapers (ie... 1st grade brought Size 1).

Playdate at the Burdette's House

Lucy McLean, Aunt Mu Mu, Ella and I took a trip up to the Burdette's house for a playdate Saturday morning. The girls were hilarious. Ella Burdette says LM's name so clearly (have to admit I am a little jealous about that). Ella also showed off her potty skills. LM proceeded to show off her wiping skills...aghh.

Thanks Mandi and Ella for a wonderful time. We miss our playgroup something fierce and can't wait until I have the summer off.

Mullet Man

Benjer came over to the Shelton Barbershop tonight for a major makeover. He came in looking like this...

In the meantime, he and Ryan thought this would be funny.

Forgot to get an aftershot. Don't worry...Ryan wouldn't let someone actually walk out of the house like this. Benjer looks very handsome now with his new "grown up" hairstyle!

P.S. Lucy McLean certainly misses the mop. She thought Benjer was hilarious with his mop on his head.
