LM had her very own McLean B-day party at my parents house on Wednesday. I love being with the McLeans and am so glad that LM is named after these fantastic people. We always have a blast. They are so laid back and fun to be around. Here are a few shots from this event...

A Whole Year Old

I can't believe that Miss Lucy McLean is an entire year old (yesterday). Ryan and I often comment about how we don't know what we did before her. I know that everyone believes this about their children, but she has to be the most amazing child! She is full of personality and loves life. She laughs constantly and talks from the moment she wakes up to the moment she falls asleep (wonder where she got that from?!) We celebrated LM's Big Day on Saturday. We celebrated again last night with a special B-day song for her and play time outside. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in this adventure in parenting. The Lord has truly blessed us with everyone in our lives. Ryan and I sat in bed last night remembering the raw memories of this time last year. It seems like yesterday that we were in the whirlwind of LM entering this world. This year has been the best year of my life by far.

I can't believe this sweety is already 11 months old. It amazes me. She has gotten to be a ham these days. She is walking all over the place and saying "Mama", "Dadda", "Giggle Giggle (tickle tickle), "Bye Bye", and, of course, "NO". She has the cutest little flirt with you, eyes closed, grin. I could just eat her with a spoon!

Lucy McLean has been taking one or two steps at a time for a few weeks now. My dad swears she did it first with him. We didn't believe him, but she proved her grandpa RIGHT. This past weekend she took about 10 steps like a little penguin. We are so proud. She is just a waddling (and falling) around. Videos to come!

Another funny milestone. Her new "word" is "tickle tickle" She even pretends to "tickle" other people as she says it. Again, I know (mom) we need to get a video up.
