Brevard Parade... and Baby Ella

We went out in to the frappin' freezing cold Saturday so that Lucy McLean could experience her first Christmas Parade. We also had to support our little cheerleader Skylar, who was in the parade. We were freezing, but she had a great time. She watched everything that went by. Here are pictures from our adventure.

And I couldn't help but add a picture of this cutie patootie. Because it was so cold, Aunt Moo Moo didn't bring Ella out to the parade. We went over for a visit before our adventure. She is already getting so big! Look at all that hair!!!

Belated Thanksgiving Pictures.... Because I am a big loser mama and forgot the camera for Turkey Day, I was stoked that Aunt Sara stopped by to see LM and took some pics. Here are two pics from the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

P.S. Aunt Sara calls LM "Baby Duck". Knowing her, I can only imagine where the name came from, but I am assuming it came from the fact that she and Tyler gave LM her first present, when she was still a lil' peanut in my tummy... a stuffed baby duck! WE LOVE YOU AUNT SARA!!!

What can I say... Santa is NOT my BFF! Skylar tried to help me tell him what I wanted, but all I wanted was off of his stinkin' lap! Maybe next time!!!

Stoltzfus Hospitality

We were so excited to start off the Christmas Season with the Stolzfus' Christmas party last night. They are great hosts and we always enjoy being in their home. Rubber Ducky... You're So Fun

Grammy bought LM an awesome new bathtub. For those of you who have children around LM's age, this is one of the best $10 investments there is. She LOVES her own bathtub and it saves us from having to use a lot of water. She splashes around and plays forever. We let her wear herself as much as she wants in her rubber ducky. THANKS GRAMMY!!!

Update on Student From School

Thanks to all of you who have been praying for the student from my school. They are still waiting for the test results, but are treating John for both encephalitis and epilepsy. He is going much better, able to breath on his own and eating now. I had no idea that Transylvania County is 3rd in the nation for encephalitis. I thought 3rd in the state, maybe 3rd in the Southeast... NO THIRD COUNTY IN THE NATION!!! Call me ignorant, but I didn't realize that encephalitis originates in horses and squirrels. For those of you who don't know, Brevard is known for their white squirrels. So... scary hugh?! Continue to pray, as he is going to be transitioning back to school soon. Thank the Lord for all He has done. THis has been a scary situation, but we are so glad that he is doing much better!

Pray for John

A little boy from my school was airlifted today to Mission. He started to have seizures on the playground and became unconscious. As of tonight (8'ish) he is still in Pediatric ICU and they aren't sure what is causing the seizures. He has no medical history of anything. They are running lots of tests. As you can imagine, there are lots of shaken up teachers, kids and family. Please pray for John and everyone else effected by this situation.
