This is a picture of the closet curtain that my sweet friend Robin made. It still needs to be himmed, but I think she did a great job!

Getting Prepared
My parents came this weekend to help out with getting loose ends tied up before Baby Shelton arrives. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!One major task was working on the closet. Here are some before and after pictures of this poor little closet. Atleast it will actually hold stuff now. The dogs worked really hard too. Snoop made sure that the laundry didn't get in the way and Velma and Earl made sure that Megan was entertained! FINALLY...pictures!

Change of Face
Ok, so Ryan is going to kill me when he sees our blog. I really wanted to put the picture that is now to the left on our blog, as our title picture, but it wouldn't fit right. Ryan Norman, my wonderfully talented roomate from college, took this picture. Yeah, I know, Ryan Norman, Ryan Shelton... it gets a little confusing. Ryan had no clue he would be in pictures that night, hence the scruff face and hair that hadn't been cut in months. I am soo excited about the pictures that Ryan Norman took. She is a PROFESSIONAL (sooo proud of her) photographer now and takes beautiful pictures. She took black and whites of me and Ryan when we were in college and we still cherish them and have them hanging in our house. She truly is amazing. Here is a sneak peek at a few things she has done for us. They are mainly belly pics, but a few others that I just love and had to include! And yes Jamie, I know that I swore I wouldn't do bare belly shots, but Ryan Norman talked me into it ;)!
P.S. I can't wait to see you in two weeks RN!

A little pitty party...
Ok, so day 3 with the flu and it is definitely worse. I am trying to be a hero and play it off like it isn't that bad, but wheew, I know Ryan wasn't milking this stuff for a second. All my body wants to do is sleep, but my mind is racing with things that need to be done both here at home and at work. My kids take the state writing test Tuesday (SCARY). Please pray for my attitude. I am having a difficult time being laid flat out and not being productive. I am also having a difficult time, as a first time mom, not freaking out over every little change I feel in my body. I am sure that 90% is due to the mixture of being 34 weeks pregnant and having the flu, but I still am allowing myself to worry too much. I know that the Lord is in control of this entire situation and has his hands on Baby Shelton. I just fear doing something that will harm the baby. I also, can't help, but worry about our finances and what this absense from work means. I have to work 120 days for this school year to count and so far, I have worked 115. I have 5 more to go. Honestly, I want to be a ble to last a lot more than 5, for maternity leaves sake. BUT, 5 is that lucky number to get my professional status and pay raise. Minor in the grand scheme of things, but still very frustrating when you are home moping around. Also pray for Ryan, seeing how he is having to put up with me. Thanks for all of the love and support!

NTC's Christening
Ryan and I made the trip to Lincolnton this weekend for two big events. Saturday was a shower for the both of us, but he ended up getting the flu and had to stay upstairs at his parents house, as to not contaminate the whole family. Unfortunately, the 5 hour car ride may have done me and Baby S in. We got our very own confirmed case of the flu today. On a lighter note, here are some pictures from our cutie patootie Noah's christening.
We had like 500 pictures and there isn't one that all of the family members are looking at the camera!

Last Hoorah!
Ryan and I had our last hoorah this past weekend. We flew out on Valentines Day for Vegas with my parents and came back on Monday night. We had a blast. We packed a lot in a few days and are feeling it now, but it was a great time! I enjoyed having some time to play and not worry about work or house chores and to just have fun. Here are some pictures from the trip. Sorry there are so many. Trust me, this is only a SMALL portion from the over 300 pictures Ryan took! Yep, that's right, 300. Can you imagine how many pictures we are going to have of our child?
Beautiful picture from the Hoover Dam
Ryan and Terry got to meet Pete Rose AND buy expensive memorabilia.

Shower #1
This weekend was our first shower. It was wonderful! I got to see a lot of old friends and family members and we were able to hang out and enjoy each other's company. Baby Shelton racked up on lots of gifts. They are VERY prepared for bathing and have ADORABLE outfits to start off life with. Thank you to everyone who made this such a special time!
Seth and Cutie Patootie Luke!
If Baby S is a girl, this will be her namesake. She will be names Lucille "McLean" Shelton. Lucille is Ryan's G'ma (pictures here) whom we love to pieces and McLean is my mother's maiden name.
Mom modeling the sling with Noah in it!
Yes, I will one day look just like this!
My G'ma talking to Noah. She LOVES babies and is soo good with them. Look how chunky monkey Noah is getting!
